Biblical Model

Biblical Model for Lifepointe Bible Study Groups - Philippians 2:16

“...holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.”

Thy Word is Truth

Each Lifepointe Bible Study group is centered on God’s life giving truths. The foundation of all that we do is the Word of God. Each group does interactive Bible study with teaching focus on the needs of each particular group. John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Ministry and Service

Many people from our Lifepointe Bible Study groups are involved in a variety of ministries or service throughout our local congregation. Many teach or minister to children. Others minister through other groups such as the Choir Ministry, our Griefshare Ministry, or our Heaven Bound group for people with special needs. Service includes nearly any other activity that supports our ministries or provides assistance to our members. What better way to glorify God than by serving others!

What Are Lifepointe Bible Study Groups

The Adult ministries are organized into groups called Lifepointe Bible Study groups commonly known as Sunday School. These groups are based on life stages, special interests, and special needs. These groups are not churches within the church but members of the overall local body of Crosspointe Baptist Church. The groups are developed through identified needs as they arise and may be added to or changed as the needs of our church family change.

During our Lifepointe Bible Study time we pray for special needs, make pertinent announcements, testimonies, and begin our worship with uplifting praise and singing. We then break into our separate groups for worship as we study God’s Word. Learning through interactive Bible teaching is the core element of a group meeting.

Outside social activities, service projects and outreach are also an important part of our fellowship

Fun & Fellowship

Activities are planned throughout the year. Adults need the fellowship of other believers who have the same interests. Group activities include picnics, parties, and service projects for church family members. The Christian life should be filled with enjoyment and fellowship with other believers!

Strengthend by Prayer

A vital part of our Lifepointe Bible Study groups is prayer for each other. Simply stated — prayer for others means being concerned for others!

I Samuel 12:23 “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you…”

Mission: Bringing each Christian to a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
